What can I say? I was born here in Woodsfield in the very house that my mother still lives, in 1942. I went to grade school here and it's right beside this house, graduated from the high school in 61.
Went right into the Army and want out in May of 64. I worked at the Strickling Vault Works for several years until I started driving a truck, worked as a surveyor in the coal mines or North American, and the Y&O near Cadiz, O.
Went to the South in 81 and worked in the construction industry as a helper, carpenter and superintendent. I started using a camera at this time to document conditions and progress on the job.
I retired in 62 with some health problems and was told to walk daily for my health and started carrying a camera to use while walking.
Some of the pictures turned out so well that I bought a better one ;-) .
I have been a member of the Monroe Artists, displaying some of the pictures that I have taken while on the walk 'about' and hope you enjoy some of them.
